I’d thank him for being my favorite human I’d never met. He has been my favorite since the 80s and never let me down. I might ask about his happiest moment so far.

He has never spouted ignorance, much less political drivel. He’s an absolute badass in all ways.

I’d tell him I understand his haunted heart and that he’d been soothing mine for 35 years. I’d tell him he made my Saturday mornings as my fiance and I woke up, laughed a while, caught a buzz and watched the Bill and Ted cartoons!

I’d tell him I get a line that many laughed at in Wick…that he wanted to live to remember his love. No one remembers a lost soul in the way of a soul mate. They’re irreplaceable. You go through motions as a half. Time is a thing to be passed until death inside your soul. You live for others and the hope of a Heaven where you’ll be complete…. together.
