So many years ago, I took a DISC profile assessment test and there was a D that actually hit the top line of the results chart and poked over it and a flat line of ISCs that barely registered, save a small bump in the I. This was to be geared towards my work attitudes.

That meant I was all about results, action, planning and directing implementation. A developer overall personality. Hate meticulous or tedium.

I recently took a different version at a job interview and am happy to report that I have, in fact, healed my ISC! They didn’t specify how to view it, so I just hurried through it as is my D nature.  And there is was! Me on a page. The D was still at the top edge of the chart, but there was a big bump in the I and small increases in SC.

My takeaway is that I am less stressed, driven, and domineering because my life has allowed it. At the time I took the first one, I was working two jobs, had a child and was helping my sister with her two as well. I had no time for iscing! I had isc always for children and animals, which explains my INFP MB personality.

Being me has been a wild, diverse, productive, happy experience but very confusing to me and others.

I never put much stock in mamby pamby assessments but I have learned from them.

If you are confused, lost, searching or seeking direction…maybe give it a try. Minds and hearts of the same being can be contrary, confrontational, confusing and also able to beat one down to a miniscule moment.

I’ve always known myself but these would have helped earlier in life and maybe a path would have unfolded more suited to my individual condition. I wouldn’t change much, though, having loved my rollercoaster and the beauty it brought me.

It might help you understand the buttholes around, too! You know I had to leave with humor if you read my posts!

Bless you and have a glorious day!
