How many times can a soul tear
And not just seep
Outside a self
For the heart may be quashed
But in the end
It is flesh and it is real
How many times can a mind be warped
And mount a valiant return
What is there out there
To beckon back
To you now in the dark
The shards have come
Let's pray most gone
The few are left to mind
Pull them out, slowly at will
Unwind them all, peruse
Your time yours to fill

How Many Times

The final lines urge introspection and a gradual process of healing, symbolized by pulling out the remaining shards and taking the time to mend.👌
