How often do you say “no” to things that would interfere with your goals?
My life is dictated by facts and action, not goals and success measuring in regards to said self-appointed paths. I’ve never needed goals and measuring. I thrive if I have to or when I care, self regulating. Independent. Not a follower, not money and society driven.
If you live by group norms and demands on your thoughts, body, and supposed “way to be”, you may soon become a sheep. I’ll stay on the 10% peripheral. I like it here and it has given me beautiful returns.
Right now, my goal is to have all family members alive every day. That’s what it’s been my whole life. With the loss of humans, losing 10 lbs would be a ridiculous thing to be worrying on at the funeral.
People live in silly ways sometimes. I do, most certainly, by other’s standards, but that’s my worry, and no one else’s. I’m happy.
I’ve saved thousands and thousands of hours not spending hours a day on my appearance to walk out the door or to the grocery store. I surely never woke up early to do hair and makeup for school! Hahahahaha
Competing with others and ourselves on a daily basis will take the enjoyment of moments away that could have been happy, simple, and low stress. If I have too many irritants, I get agitated. I have to peck and choose or pick and choose.
I live to unfold every day as it will.
