The only thing I can think of is my marriage, but it wasn’t a failure to me. It was a Lifetime Movie in the making and I was lucky to be a US Southerner with a mighty f you handy.

I wrote about it, and it’s a great cautionary tale regarding the old switcheroo where you find a wanna be abuser. I’ll never forget when I told him I’d cave in his head with a frying pan.

He was shocked at my verbal skills in the cursing genre. He met me at my weakest point and thought he’d found a victim in the making, but he inadvertently met The Fitch, with whom he had thus far been completely unacquainted.
