After giving birth, I made three unattended trips down the hallway looking for my child. My legs looked like tree trunks.
Finally, 7 hours later (12:30 am) I demanded they turn him over in one of those clear rolling carts… Which they did because when they started to say ‘but’, the Fitch’d popped out not taking a no. No.
Proudly, I wheeled him happily down the dark hallway, unattended except by him, back to my room, where I plopped him on my tummy and he slept.
So I spent my first day as a mother protecting, loving, and providing warmth to my son!
You know, ordinary Mom day!
